The D28 is an ultra-compact, high-speed color duplex scanner. Unlike other compact scanners, the solidly built D28 scans letter-sized documents in a mere 2.2 seconds. Designed to scan both documents up to legal size and plastic ID cards, the D28 can be used to capture all the information you need right at the point of transaction. For ease of use, nine scanning presets can be custom programmed for different applications or even multiple users. The entire scanning process is then as simple as selecting a preset and pressing the simplex or duplex scan button. Tasks such as creating Word files and storing or sending them become completely automated processes. You can even pre-program commonly used functions such as scan-to-mail or scan, OCR and open text in a desired applicationbutton.
